Silicone is a synthetic polymer made up of silicon, oxygen and other elements, most typically carbon & hydrogen. Silicone is generally a liquid or a flexible, rubber like plastic, & has a number of useful temporary properties, such as high heat resistance which makes it perfect to lay the cuticles on the shaft of the hair down to create a sleek effect & to aid in getting the tangles and knots out of your hair. Silicone loves the curling iron, the straightener and the hair dryer; it gets shinier and sleeker with heat. This then makes it welded in effect to the hair shaft and stops all beneficial treatments being effective. In essence you are wasting money on product! It’s not working due to the silicone coating layered onto the hair shaft.
Silicone coats the hair, suffocates it really. Some silicones are water soluble and some not water soluble meaning that over time hair gets saturated with the product and becomes heavy, lank, & dull. Days between washes get shorter. It locks out moisture, protein and any beneficial conditioning products as it cannot penetrate the barrier that silicone creates. If you colour your hair you will need to do it more often.

Omicron Logistics Status Update | 12th Jan 22
The rapid spread of the Omicron variant has further impacted the logistics industry. This includes many courier drivers, warehouse staff, forklift drivers, container unpack crews and administrators.
Due to the widespread impact of Omicron infections, our partnered carriers across the network are experiencing both a surge in parcel deliveries and major disruptions to their delivery services. With a significant number of people in self-isolation in accordance with state regulations and public health orders, delivery delays are expected across the network due to driver shortages, depots experiencing temporary closures and/or operating with significantly reduced staff.
This has also created some lags in tracking details being updated on carrier websites.
