Q. Are my items insured in transit?
A. Although carriers take great care throughout the delivery process, sometimes things can go wrong, get damaged or lost. Not ideal for anyone, we hear you!
Some carriers will offer complimentary insurance coverage in the event of driver negligence, damage, or loss in the carrier network (not after drop off).
If something happens to your item please let us know and we will investigate with the carrier, but please understand we are not the carrier and we can’t promise they will provide compensation.
MISSING PARCEL AFTER DELIVERY / THEFT:
Q. What if my items go missing or are stolen after they are delivered?
A. Unfortunately for both of us, once dropped off on private property the carriers don’t take responsibility for the goods so if they are stolen there is no recourse. envirocare earth also does not take any responsibility for goods which have been successfully delivered and have gone missing / been stolen from your authorised address.
TELEPHONE CALL PRIOR TO DELIVERY:
Q. Can the Courier call me when he is coming?
A. Most couriers do not carry service phones, therefore are unable to contact you with a phone call prior to delivery. Please ensure you always follow the instructions received regarding your delivery via email and/or SMS only.
REQUESTING DELIVERY TIME WINDOW:
Q. Can the Courier deliver between a desired window, ie: between 10.am -12.pm?
A. It is unreasonable to request a delivery window. Couriers are unable to incorporate desired delivery windows into their delivery runs due to logistics. Please ensure you always follow the instructions received regarding your delivery via email and/or SMS only.
